Testimonials

"Truthfulness, their ability to communicate and keep

me informed and the quality of the people they have

working for them."

"Hi Dimitry,

I just wanted to let you know that the paint in the kitchen dried perfectly!!! I am very happy with the whole job. Please feel free to use me as a reference. I have nothing but nice things to say about A-Z, and you.  Victor is a great  builder, and has a great crew. They are all niceguys...friendly,
funny, and very good at their jobs. If I ever need any electrical work done, I'll call Nick. The same goes with Luis for plumbing. And, of course if there is any other remodeling to do, I'll call you.

I also wanted to tell you that I like you very much as a person. You are knowledgeable.honest, and professional, and you are also a nice guy..easy to work with!!!"

"What kept me working comfortably

with A to Z  for twelve years has been the fact that I

can talk to them and they are responsive, they are

really concerned about my problems."

"I was fortunate to be referred to A to Z Construction for our project from a good friend who had a good experience with them previously for her own bath remodel. I am happy to refer A to Z Construction to others!"

Here are some of the basics of good painting job:

As professional painters A to Z Construction are committed and responsible for all preparation prior to painting. All scraping, sanding, pressure wash, wallpaper removal, caulking, drywall or wood repair, patching, stain removal, filling nail holes or any defects with plaster or putty, cleaning, taping, preparation and priming to be done by the professional painters - employees of  A to Z Construction.

A to Z Construction carries all needed tools of the trade, including sanders, scrapers, paint sprayers, brushes, paint rollers, ladders and scaffolding, in addition to just the paint in order to correctly complete work. Much preparation needs to be considered before simply applying paint. For instance, taping and drop cloth techniques, sizes of brushes or rollers, material types or dimensions of rollers or brushes (there are different sizes or types of brushes and rollers for different paints), amount of paint, number of paint coats, amount of primer, types of primers and paints, certain grits and cuts of sandpaper, trim cutting (the act of painting with a brush on the outline of baseboard, moldings and other trim work), wallpaper removal, and nail-hole filling techniques just to name a few.

A to Z Construction  provides all drop cloths, dustsheets, paint sheets, paint tarps or protection films that are required to protect nearby surfaces that are not being painted.

textured coating processTextured coating - lasting home solutions

We will trench to the foundation, mask and cover all areas subject to overspray, water blast (3500-4000 psi) or sandblast to remove dirt, loose, stucco, peeling paint and all foreign matter that could impede adhesion of the coating. If efflorescence is present, we will chemically treat the surface, and repair the surface with cement patching compounds, elastomeric patching compounds and waterproofing cement if necessary. We will allow all surfaces to dry at least 24 hours before application of primer/sealers, which will be applied at an approximate rate of ¼ gallon per hundred square feet. If efflorescence has been a problem, an efflorescence inhibiting primer will be used. All primer/sealers will be allowed to dry in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Textured coating will be applied at the manufacturer's suggested rate of 2½ - 3 gallons per 100 square feet at approximately 500 psi to the desired texture and pattern. We will apply these finishes with proven effectiveness against sun, rain, fading and moisture. And finally, we will sand, patch, primer and paint your home's exterior trim with your choice of the highest quality acrylic or oil base finish paints and stains.

Texcote™ Textured coatings are available from many quality manufacturers such as Texcote Texture Coating, Catalina Textured Coatings, Kover Shield Cote, Multicoat Texcoating, VIP Paints and Coatings, Pittsburgh Paint, Vexcon Chemical Corporation, ICI Dulux, Sherwin Williams Paint Co. and Behr Process to name a few.
